The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame nominees are out! A few interesting names in there!
First time nominees: Bon Jovi, Neil Diamond, Alice Cooper, Donovan and Tom Waits.

What confuses me however is that LL Cool J has also been nominated and it's not the first time! I'm confused because, and this may just be me, LL Cool J isn't very rock n roll - it sure isn't on our playlist and were a 100% rock station. Regardless, good on him!

The induction will take place 14 March in New York.

A bit of tech news

So, Apple brought out the iPad. It was rather cool - something new. Then HP, Dell and various other PC names announced that they'll be releasing their version of the iPad.

But you wouldn't expect RIM (Blackberry) to bring out their version of a touch screen tablet.

Joke of the day

A hooded robber burst into a bank and forced the tellers to load a sack full of cash. On his way out the door, a brave customer grabbed the robber's hood and pulled it off, revealing his face. The robber shot the customer without a moment's hesitation. He then looked around the bank and noticed one of the tellers looking straight at him. The robber instantly shot him also. Everyone else, by now very scared, looked down at the floor in silence. The robber yelled, "Well, did anyone else see my face?" There are a few moments of silence in which everyone was plainly afraid to speak. Then, one old man tentatively raised his hand and said, "My wife got a pretty good look at you."

The Braai Show - Don't Drink And Drive Campaign

So, you've had a few drinks in the square, and you realise you should be responsilbe and check whether you are in the right condition to drive. So, first find an alcohol analyser (and some Konstant on the side).

Put your money in, and blow into the machine using a straw:

Wait for the results to come out:

(0.081) And when the alcohol level is above 0.02, then you know you are above the limit and shouldn't drive:

Repeat the above steps until you find someone who is under the limit:
